Often, within our organization, our volunteers get lost in the shuffle. Writing this small article is one way we have chosen to recognize those of you whose contributions make North Kitsap Eagles #3586 a great place. As time goes on, we will be acknowledging past and present volunteers.

August/September Newsletter
Robin is a fundamental member of our Leadership team; without her dedication and willingness to learn on the run, we wouldn't be here today as an organization. Robin has spent countless hours trying to shoulder the responsibility of Secretary, bar manager, kitchen manager, event planner and so much more. We are so grateful for all you've done and continue to do.
Leon is a man who knows more about this club than anyone. He grew up in this club as did Ginny, his sister. Not only has he learned the history and traditions of the Eagles, he continues to teach and embrace those lessons. Our organization would be lost without both of them, and all the volunteers who devote so much time, effort and energy to making things happen. We will continue to acknowledge our priceless volunteers, without them we would not have a club to be a part of.
June/July Newsletter
Kathy Summers has done so much to support the club. She started a cleaning business so she could make sure the club has a clean, safe and healthy environment. Kathy also supports the club as a Trustee, bartender, cook, bar manager, hospitality queen, and heart energy spirit.
Dennis Johnson has really stepped up to help with the grounds keeping. He has spent numerous hours cleaning out the winter growth, mowing, weed whacking and pruning trees is preparation for Jimmy's celebration of life, He has really made the exterior of the club shine. Thank you Dennis for helping us prepare the grounds for our huge Summer Celebration. We are looking great!
April/May Newsletter
In this article, I would like to take the time to acknowledge Team Maher: Jason and Mandy.
Mandy Maher, our current Treasurer, has devoted countless hours keeping our books up to date. Her role of Treasurer isn't the only way Mandy has willingly sacrificed here personal time to keep things going at the club, she manages the bingo program, keeps notes at the Trustee and Aerie meetings, helps in the kitchen, listens to Member concerns, keeps our digital sign updated and publishes the newsletter both in print and online.
Jason Maher is often round running wire, upgrading systems helping with dinners being available to members, updating and managing our IT needs while serving as Vice President. Did I mention, Jason has a full -time job and a commute? These two have willingly and freely shared their knowledge, experience, and time to make the club a better place.
Next time you see them, shake their hands, and given them the thanks they deserve yet so rarely receive.
Stay tuned for our next article where we share more praise for out amazing volunteers.
